Photostrip Faces 300 mm, Copper and Low-k Convergence
Once upon a time photoresist stripping was just another straightforward semiconductor production stage. Now, with the telescoping of Moore's Law, the convergence of 300 mm with copper, low-k and increasingly smaller CDs, this procedure also has become highly complex ( Fig. 1 ).
