Advanced Energy Industries Inc. (AE, Fort Collins, Colo.) has named Arthur Zafiropoulo and Gerald M. Starek to its board of directors. Zafiropoulo is president of Ultratech Stepper Inc. Before joining Ultratech in 1990, he served as president of General Signal Semiconductor Equipment Group's international operations and has served as a member of the board of directors since 1992 for RF Power Products Inc., which has been acquired by AE. Starek founded Silicon Valley Group Inc. and has served as a member of the board of directors for RF Power Products since 1994.
