Laura Peters -- Semiconductor International, 7/16/2009

The Best of West award is bestowed by show organizer SEMI to honor innovations that represent significant financial impact on the industry, engineering or scientific achievement and/or societal impact.

After much deliberation by a leading panel of judges composed of industry executives and journalists, Nano Green Technology (South Hall booth 1400) was announced as the recipient of the award for 2009.

The CCS-1000 Critical Cleaning System by Nano Green Technology Inc. works by combining deionized (DI) water and ammonia gas (NH3) to form molecules that move in a pattern with well-defined relative phases-known as "coherent" water. The system was developed and trademarked by Nano Green as "ionized molecularly activated coherent solution, "or iMACSTM -- a revolutionary green, renewable, cleaning process solution for the semiconductor, flat panel display (FPD), liquid crystal display (LCD) and data storage disk drive (DSDD) industries.
