Mapper Lithography (Delft, Netherlands) appointed Christopher Hegarty as CEO, succeeding Boudewijn Baud, who served as Mapper’s CEO for six years. Mapper is developing a form of maskless lithography that uses a MEMS lens arrays to focus parallel electron beams.
Hegarty, a 45-year-old native of Australia, previously ran the microcontroller business at Infineon Technologies. He earned a doctorate in electrical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.
“I am delighted to have the opportunity to lead Mapper into its next phase,” Hegarty said. “I would also like to thank Boudewijn Baud for his commitment to the company and the valuable contributions he has made to Mapper’s development during the first crucial period of its existence.”
