Optical Foundry Services

Optical foundry services will include the manufacturer’s aspherical lens research, development, products and additional products especially for the optical fiber communication field. This foundry will complement an existing MEMS foundry by offering optics, optical design, prototyping, manufacturing, integration, and testing for MEMS-based modules. Customers may outsource to one or both foundries in designing, developing and manufacturing their MEMS-based module. The foundry can deliver the MEMS subassembly by designing and building the MEMS device and also integrating the drive electronics using flip-chip, wire bonding, and wafer bonding processes.
